Explore your creativity in a laid-back atmosphere at the Duluth Public Library’s Teen Space. Bring your headphones and creative ideas — art supplies provided, but bringing your own is also welcome. Registration covers all 26 sessions, but attending every session is not necessary.

Mud Puppies are a young 5-piece Folk Grunge Band from Duluth. The effect of pairing their thoughtful lyrics with their signature sound brings a fun, yet unique energy to the stage. You can expect to see influences from bands like Wilco and Nirvana, while their local roots shine through with hints of Trampled by Turtles and Charlie Parr. Our Wednesday Night at the Races series has become one of our most popular Young Athletes Foundation (YAF) programs! The Wednesday Night at the Races series is free and open to any child ages 14 & under. Whether it’s your child’s first-ever race or they’ve just fallen in love with running, we’d love to see them at our next event! The summer series starts in late July and continues throughout August, culminating in our last race of the year which includes a free shirt for every participant and year-end picnic for the kids and their families! 2026 Wednesday Night at the Races All races start at 6pm. July 22 — Hermantown July 29 — Superior & Esko August 5 — Proctor August 12 — Two Harbors & Hibbing August 19 — Lake Superior Zoo
