Located directly on I-35, Duluth is incredibly easy to reach by car. We’re just 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul, making us the perfect road trip destination. Fly Into Duluth
Arriving and departing from the Duluth International Airport (DLH) guarantees a stress-free start and end to your journey. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from downtown Duluth, DLH offers direct flights to major hubs, making your travel experience seamless. In addition, Delta Airlines offers daily nonstop flights from Duluth to Minneapolis (MSP) while United Express provides daily nonstop service from Duluth to Chicago O’Hare (ORD).
Duluth Shuttle Services
Need a ride between Duluth and Minneapolis/St. Paul? Groome Transportation offers daily shuttle vans directly between Duluth and Minneapolis MSP (Terminals 1 & 2). They even provide direct drop-off to the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) and surrounding hotels. Landline also provides nonstop daily scheduled bus service directly connecting the Duluth International Airport and MSP (Terminals 1 & 2), including Mankato.

Public Transportation
The Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) provides convenient regular-route bus service throughout Duluth, Proctor, and Superior, Wisconsin. They operate 33 variations of 18 different routes, connecting you to key attractions, neighborhoods, and business districts.
Duluth Transportation Center (DTC)
The modern Duluth Transportation Center (DTC) located in the heart of downtown at 228 West Michigan Street, serves as the main DTA Transit Hub. It also offers 410 parking spaces, charging stations for electric vehicles, and intercity bus service from Jefferson Lines, Arrowhead Transit, and Indian Trails. Secured bicycle storage is also available.
Para-Transit Services
For qualified individuals with disabilities in the Twin Ports, Special Transit RIDE (STRIDE) offers para-transit services within the city boundaries of Duluth and Superior, and within 3/4 of a mile from the DTA’s regular routes in Proctor, Hermantown, and Rice Lake.
