Ever wonder what makes a critique actually helpful? Join artist and educator Robb Quisling for a conversation about the purpose of critique, how it can strengthen your creative practice, and how to give and receive thoughtful, constructive feedback. Listen in while you work on your own creative projects in our multipurpose classroom space. Following the presentation, participants are invited to stay for an optional one-on-one critique with Robb to put these ideas into practice. This session is perfect for both developing and emerging artists. First Wednesdays is part of our regular Weekly Creative Studio program, offering additional artist resources, special guests, and professional development opportunities during open studio work time. Singer, songwriter, guitarist, and “Boss Mama” Colleen Myhre has connected with a loose band of hard-rocking desperados and dubbed them the Jebberhooch. Together, Boss Mama and the Jebberhooch put out dusty, dirty, gritty blues that rumble across the stage like a beat-up sedan over a Mississippi Delta dirt road. Their sound is a shake-and-baked helping of country soul, blood harmony and deep groove funkiness. No Cover | All Ages | Family-Friendly
