Stop by the galleries and celebrate the creativity of the 73 artists representing our region in the 65th Arrowhead Regional Biennial, a juried exhibition that serves up a snapshot of our current time and place. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages while exploring this full-gallery exhibition and meeting the artists. Awards will be presented for the three standout pieces selected by juror Wendy Savage.
Veterans Memorial Hall, a program of the St. Louis County Historical Society, and the Lake Superior Railroad Museum announce their next event in the local history presentation series, History in a Pint. The presentation will feature an item from our Collection known as “The Eagle’s Nest Photo Album.” The speaker will be Jay Hagen, the Veterans Memorial Hall Program Manager. It will take place in the Lake Superior Railroad Museum at the St. Louis County DEPOT on Thursday, October 23, at 5:30 pm. The Eagle’s Nest Photo Album is part of the St. Louis County Historical Society’s collection stored in the Albert J. Amatuzio Research Center. Central Entrance to drop off New or Gently used, Mittens, Hats, and Jackets for our local schools. Consider stopping into Twin Ports Trailer Trash on October 22nd from 8am – 4pm for free Mattress Drop-Offs along with the winter clothing drive! Donate and you will get some free ice cream! As we work closely with the local schools, all donation will be sorted and sent to the schools based on their needs! Help us keep our neighborhood warm this winter! We hope to see you there!
