Our Wednesday Night at the Races series has become one of our most popular Young Athletes Foundation (YAF) programs! The Wednesday Night at the Races series is free and open to any child ages 14 & under. Whether it’s your child’s first-ever race or they’ve just fallen in love with running, we’d love to see them at our next event! The summer series starts in late July and continues throughout August, culminating in our last race of the year which includes a free shirt for every participant and year-end picnic for the kids and their families! 2026 Wednesday Night at the Races All races start at 6pm. Come celebrate the journey of local cat Odie, as we dedicate this Friday’s karaoke in Loving Memory of Odie’s Left Leg (gone from our body, never from our hearts). We will be serving specialty cocktails (found in the event description) to honor the memory of Odie’s Left Leg during this Friday’s karaoke! Our Siiviis Gallery summer exhibition, North Shore Folklore, is an exploration of the mysterious, unknown and intriguing in and around the North Shore. Do you know any tall tales of the Great Lakes, heard or invented; any inexplicable occurrences? Can you describe something intriguing or secret about the deep places in the world? How would you depict magic associated with being in or near big water? Please join us at our opening reception on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 2:00-5:00p. If you can’t join us on the opening day, don’t worry! It will be on display Saturday, July 11, 2026 – August 31, 2026.
Join the Strikepoint, one of the top handbell ensembles in the world, before they head off to Scotland for the 22nd International Handbell Symposium! You’ll hear some of the music to be played at the Symposium, along with a new piece by Strikepoint director Derek Bromme. Admission free; $18 suggested donation.
