Allied Charities of Minnesota (ACM) is a non-profit 501(c) (6) organization representing charities and their lawful charitable gambling interests in the state of Minnesota. Charitable gambling exists as a fundraising source for nonprofit organizations to raise money to help contribute to their communities and causes. ACM serves as an advocate to educate elected officials and all Minnesotans about the benefitscharitable gambling delivers. We lobby to provide guidance on new rules and regulations as wellas to protect the interests of charities. We also serve as an educational resource to help charitiesand their members keep up-to-date on the regulations, statutes, and rules that govern ourbusiness. Our goal is to ensure that charitable gambling organizations have the tools andstrength to continue their mission work and to make sure the general public is aware of thebenefits our organizations bring to the community. Jon Edwards is a traditional blues and folks musician based out of Duluth, MN. He draws from the likes of Charlie Parr, Dave Van Ronk, Spider John Koerner and many others. Our vision is to create an inclusive and welcoming experience that invites people of all ages and abilities to gather, explore, and enjoy the many wonders of winter in our beautiful lakeside city. Join us for a fun-filled night of trivia, friendly competition, and game show excitement — all to support a much-needed update to the Downtown Library’s Children’s Section. Enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, a silent auction, and games during cocktail hour. Then, it’s table vs. table in smartphone trivia, a live auction, the Olga Walker Awards, and our headline event: Duluth Feud — a Family Feud-style showdown featuring local teams vying for glory in this live game show experience.
