We’ll provide all the materials you need to craft your own vision board, but you are welcome to bring any personal items you’d like to include, just bring your imagination and an open mind! This free event is part of LiveWell’s #BetterTogether initiative, promoting mindfulness, well-being, and connection throughout the Twin Ports community.
The St. Louis County Historical Society (SLCHS), under the guidance of the SLCHS American Indian Advisory Committee, is proud to announce its annual Native American Heritage Day from 11AM to 3PM on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the St. Louis County Depot (506 W Michigan St, Duluth, MN 55802). The event is free and open to the public. “Native American Heritage Day is when we get to share our culture with the public,” says Michele Beeksma, SLCHS board member and American Indian Advisory Committee member. The goal, according to Michelle, “is to provide a common space where all can learn about and experience some of our local Native American heritage.” Native American Heritage Day gives families and folks who are just curious the opportunity to see, hear, and taste our regional Ojibwe culture. The group strives to create inspiring and transformative musical experiences that resonate with audiences of all ages. The 2025 winter edition of Chamber Music Up North: Notes from the Road presents an exciting repertoire from every corner of the world, featuring music influenced by diverse cultures and traditions. Duluth Fiber Guild members are preparing for their Annual Fiber Art Fair & Sale. The event is open to the public and will be held Saturday, November 15, from 10 am – 3 pm at the First United Methodist Church (the Coppertop) at 230 E. Skyline Parkway, Duluth. The Annual Fiber Art Fair & Sale offers high-quality finely crafted textile art items, including: handwovens (scarves, table runners, fine tea towels, wall hangings, placemats); handknits (socks, hats, mittens, scarves, sweaters); felted items (ornaments, framed originals, birdhouses, bowls, scarves); baskets; fleece and roving from local farms; hand spun yarn; up-cycled items made from discarded fabrics and more. Items are made from natural fibers: wool, cotton, bamboo, silk, tencel, rayon, and linen. Some of the fibers are produced on local sheep and alpaca farms, and the spinning group is experimenting with growing flax and processing it into linen. All items are locally made….
