As tensions escalate, librarians connect the dots from heated school and library board meetings nationwide to lay bare the underpinnings of a large-scale coordinated extremist movement fueling the censorship efforts. Mark your calendars for a Pumpkin Hunt on Saturday, October 10, at 10am, exclusively at the Downtown Duluth Public Library location. We’re teaming up with Lake Superior Art Glass to reward pumpkin hunters with tiny glass pumpkins, handmade right here in Duluth. This year’s hunt will feature clues associated with banned books, in celebration of National Banned Books Week October 4-10, 2026.
