The Christmas City of the North Parade has been a Northland holiday tradition since 1958. Today, it is the most attended public event in the Northland — bringing together residents from all walks of life and uniting generations of family with memories of its Christmas spirit and fun traditions.

Christmas City of the North Parade Viewing Party

Enjoy Duluth’s beloved holiday parade from the comfort of a private party in the DAI art galleries. 2024 Native American Heritage Day

SLCHS Native American Heritage Day is Saturday, November 23 from 11AM-3PM at the St. Louis County Depot (506 W. Michigan St., Duluth, MN 55802). Opening remarks begin at 11:30AM, with a panel discussion at 1PM on the ideas of citizenship and its meaning for Indigenous community members living in northern Minnesota. A free lunch of frybread tacos from The Food Stand will be provided, along with open museum galleries and craft activities for all ages.

Bentleyville Tour of Lights

Bayfront Festival Park – Bentleyville Tour of Lights is a walk through holiday lighting extravaganza! We take over Bayfront Festival Park, on the shores of Lake Superior in Downtown Duluth, and decorate it with over 5,000,000 lights! We are very popular and we often see large crowds. Many guests prefer to visit later in the evening or on weeknights.
