Women In Science: Studying diverse relationships with water in the Great Lakes region
Join us Thursday, March 20th from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM for a new event series: Women In Science 🔬👩🏽🔬🧬🧫 This inaugural panel will focus on studying diverse relationships with water in the Great Lakes region with special appearances from local panelists as they discuss the impact of their science on our region and communities. Photography & Art at the Rock, a monthly exhibit in the lobby of the Split Rock Lighthouse Visitor Center that showcases local artists, landscape and wildlife photographers of the area. For the month of March our featured photographer is Joe Polecheck. Cost: Regular Site Admission
Bring the Sing
YourClassical Minnesota Public Radio invites Duluthians and others in the Northland to come together for a free community sing-along choral at the College of St. Scholastica’s Mitchell Auditorium. Led by St. Scholastica’s Bret Amundson, Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, accompanied by Emily Valine, attendees will embark on a fun musical afternoon of music-making. The College of St. Scholastica Honor Choir and local high school students will join along, conducted by Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Richard Carrick. Sheet music will be provided free at the event, as well as snacks for all participants.
