St. Louis County Depot 506 W Michigan St., Duluth, MN, United StatesThe St. Louis County Historical Society (SLCHS), under the guidance of the SLCHS American Indian Advisory Committee, is proud to announce its annual Native American Heritage Day from 11AM to 3PM on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the St. Louis County Depot (506 W Michigan St, Duluth, MN 55802). The event is free and open to the public. “Native American Heritage Day is when we get to share our culture with the public,” says Michele Beeksma, SLCHS board member and American Indian Advisory Committee member. The goal, according to Michelle, “is to provide a common space where all can learn about and experience some of our local Native American heritage.” Native American Heritage Day gives families and folks who are just curious the opportunity to see, hear, and taste our regional Ojibwe culture. Veterans Day at the St. Louis County Depot
St. Louis County Depot 506 W Michigan St., Duluth, MN, United StatesThis year the Duluth Women of Today are joining forces with the Veterans Memorial Hall in sponsoring our 2025 Veterans Day Ceremonies. This year marks the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps. The event will take place on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in the Great Hall of the DEPOT (506 W. Michigan St). The program will begin promptly at 11 AM and will include an array of patriotic music provided by the Spirit Valley Drum & Bugle Corps., the Superior Senior High School Choir, bag piper Kerry Welch and the National Anthem will be sung by Aalyiah Gebhardt. The guest speaker will be Bob Stephens, 10-year U.S. Navy Veteran, and regular member of the American Legion Hall Post #71. The exhibit was developed in 2024 by the Minnesota Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities and is co-hosted by Udac, a Duluth nonprofit established in 1969 to support individuals with disabilities. Celebrity Dance Challenge
St. Louis County Depot 506 W Michigan St., Duluth, MN, United States2025 marks the 19th Anniversary of Minnesota Ballet's Celebrity Dance Challenge, an annual fundraising event that pairs local celebrities with professional dancers from the company for a fun and competitive evening of dance. Participants perform in a range of styles — such as ballroom, jazz, and contemporary — and audience members vote for their favorites. The event includes a social hour, refreshments, and a high-energy show. Proceeds from the Celebrity Dance Challenge support the Minnesota Ballet’s educational programs and its professional dance company, helping sustain its mission of artistic excellence and community engagement. Social hour with appetizers and cash bar starts at 5:30pm. Performance at 7:00pm at the Depot Theatre in the St. Louis County Depot.
