Through the intricate technique of relief-printed linoleum, Ihrke meticulously captures the forms of invasive plants found in her own backyard, transforming these often-overlooked species into compelling works of art. This new body of work is the result of Ihrke's exploration supported by an Individual Artist Project Grant through the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council. Ihrke's artistic vision goes beyond mere observation. Her powerful prints aim to foster familiarity with local invasive plants and inspire tangible action within the community.
