The Art of Wintering Well: Finding Connection in Winter
Halcyon House 11 E Michigan St., Duluth, United StatesWinter can often feel isolating due to cold temperatures and less daylight. This can lead to more time spent indoors and reduced social encounters. We know (through research) that social isolation can have serious health implications. We also know that increasing social interactions can trigger endorphins which improve mood and resilience during the winter months. We will discuss and practice building connection. (p.s. you’re doing it by attending this workshop!) Each date will be a “stand alone” workshop that will relate to, but the will not directly build on, other weeks. The workshop will occur on Saturdays from 10:00am -11:30am at Halcyon House.

Healing Tea Meditation
Halcyon House 11 E Michigan St., Duluth, United StatesStep into a quiet, reverent space to sit with Tea, an ancient, heart-opening plant teacher that invites us into deeper presence, stillness, and connection. In this ceremony, we gather in meditative silence, allowing the simplicity of sharing Tea to guide us home to ourselves and the rhythms of nature. Each bowl offers an invitation to listen, to your body, your breath, and your heart, and to receive what is needed in the moment. There is nothing to learn or achieve here. Only the gift of being. The Tea served is organic or wild-harvested, prepared with care, and infused with strong qi and gentle wisdom. This practice supports nervous system regulation, spiritual nourishment, and a return to the sacredness of simplicity. This ritual is a sacred pause to reconnect with what truly matters. First timers are welcome – there is nothing you need to know, be, or do in order to...
