Join the Northern Lights Foundation, the Duluth Police Department, and the Duluth Fire Department for the 16th Annual Charity Softball Game on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Military Members, First Responders and children of all ages attend for FREE! With the incredible support of The Duluth Huskies and Wade Stadium we present a fun, family, community event while raising money for local families with children facing life-threatening illnesses. Enjoy police and fire displays, delicious food, amazing raffles, and a ball game! It’s a great night at Wade Stadium watching a friendly but competitive softball game all while supporting a local children’s charity! Fun-Filled Community Event – all invited! There will be games for kids & an interactive activity with the Duluth Children’s Museum. Raffle tickets will be available at the game. Doors open at 5:00pm. Game starts at 6:00pm.

LiveWell 5K Walk/Run/Roll & Celebration
This LiveWell 5K Walk/Run/Roll & Celebration is hosted by LiveWell which is an initiative of the Pruitt Center for Mindfulness & Well-being at UW-Superior. LiveWell is a holistic mental health project created to support those who are living, working, and attending school in Douglas County and the greater Twin Ports area. We work to identify and create innovative ways to address the current mental health crisis in our community. One way we do this is through activities which foster connection and prevent social isolation. As a part of this initiative, we are excited to host our third annual 5K, promoting connection & advocating for mental wellness in our community. Navy Week Sets Sail for Duluth: Celebrating 250 Years! The U.S. Navy is returning to Duluth, Minnesota, for Navy Week from June 30 – July 6, 2025! As part of a nationwide outreach effort, this special week will connect over 70 Sailors with our community through engaging performances, educational events, and service projects. Lake Superior 7s Rugby Tournament
Twin Ports RFC is hosting the 3rd stop of the MN Summer Series. The tournament is at Susens Field, 3903 N 18th St, Superior, WI, from 10am to 3:30pm on Saturday June 28th and is FREE to attend. There will also be a FREE to join youth event held at the tournament location from 12pm to 1pm. Come watch as 6 Men’s teams from across MN and ND compete to improve their standing in the MN Summer Series. This year the tournament will include a Women’s tournament with 3 teams from MN and WI including the DEBUT of the Twin Ports Superior Sirens! Concessions will be for sale around lunch time, all proceeds going Twin Ports RFC to help us grow the sport of rugby in the Duluth-Superior area.
