LiveWell Pickleball Tournament

Join Us for a Free LiveWell Pickleball Tournament! Hosted at the UW-Superior Marcovich Wellness Center Field House, this exciting fun, non-competitive doubles tournament is open to players of all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player, we’ve got a division for you. Sign up by yourself to be placed with a partner or with your teammate! Children aged 12-17 are welcome to join, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the tournament. Please remember to bring your own paddles, as a limited number will be available for use. This Thanksgiving, join us for the Gobble Gallop — presented by Essentia Health. This 5K, 1-Mile, and Kids Run is Duluth’s favorite family tradition. Whether you’re racing or strolling, every step celebrates wellness, community, and the joy of moving together. Join us and be part of a Northland tradition that keeps hearts warm and feet moving! This event supports Safe Haven Shelter & Resource Center. A portion of the proceeds of the event as well as all partnership and participant donations go to helping Safe Haven continue their essential work in our community. The race starts between S. 12th Ave. E. and S. 13th Ave. E. on London Road, just outside the Rose Garden.

Trick-or-Trot

Trick-or-Trot at North Country Ride Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025 Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm Location: North Country Ride (180 Hatinen Road, Esko, MN 55733) Saddle up for a spook-tacular afternoon of fall fun at Trick-or-Trot, hosted by the Duluth Children’s Museum and North Country Ride! Families are invited to enjoy festive activities, sweet treats, and plenty of Halloween magic in a horse-themed setting. 2025 Superior Nightmare 5K

A spooky end to our local racing calendar, the Superior Nightmare 5K brings with it plenty of scary surprises and haunted hijinks. Dress your best for this annual combination of Halloween and running, and be sure to enter our costume contest to decide the day’s best-dressed! All Superior Nightmare 5K adult participants will receive a commemorative full-zip jacket and all youth participants will receive a commemorative hooded sweatshirt, included with the entry fee. The Spider Dash Kids’ Races are FREE and open to all participants ages 14 & under. The kids’ races will start at 11:45 a.m., shortly after the conclusion of the main race. UMD Hockey Tailgate Party

BULLDOG HOCKEY RETURNS WITH FIRST-EVER TAILGATE BY THE DECC WATERFRONT Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) waterfront Oct 10th 5-7pm, October 11th 4-6pm Free to attend | Food and beverage available for purchase (cash bar) Enjoy some great food, drinks and views before the big game! Stokke’s Meats will be tending the grill for a pre-game tailgate party by the new seawall project on Harbor Drive by the DECC. Get your photo with Champ and the UMD Hockey Cheer Team, pickup some merch and hear hockey staff and player interviews. This BBQ atmosphere, featuring the UMD Pep Band, CHAMP, and the UMD Hockey Cheer Team, will ready the crowd for the 2025/2026 season.
