The DECC’s Pop-Up Pirate Barrr has a bird’s eye view of the Tall Ships along the seawall! Come enjoy pirate-y beverages on our deck or by the huge windows of the DECC’s Harbor Side Convention Center Thursday: 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM (includes the Parade of Sail) Friday: 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM Saturday: 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM Location: Duluth Entertainment Convention Center, Enter by Door G near the Vista Fleet or via the Skyway. Admission: FREE TO ATTEND – No ticket necessary for entrance to the barrr. The Festival of Sail is a ticketed event granting access to the street level in front of the ships. Festival of Sail is not run by the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. DECC parking rates apply
Join us for our annual summer community gathering! It will be at Harrison Park on July 20 from 10AM-2PM. There will be 2 Bounce Houses, Climbing Wall, Relay Races, Mobile Library, Snacks and Beverages, Sidewalk Chalk, Water Painting. Face-Painting, Zoo Mobile-5 Senses Exhibit, Big Red Bookshelf, Basketball, Nature Play Activities, Duluth Police Department with Cars, Resources, Games, Activities, Giveaways, Drawings, Prizes, and more! *This year we will have J DAC Food truck, Kona-Ice of Duluth, and NERCC Meat and Vegetable trailer at the event; it’s the only part of event that is not free.

The Rose Fest will be held on Saturday July 12, 2025 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Leif Erikson Rose Garden, 1300 London Road, Duluth MN. It is free and open to the public. Take a guided tour of the Rose Garden. Attend classes on rose growing basics, roses in the garden or containers. Learn about easy to grow roses for our area or join a treasure hunt for kids of all ages. Get your questions answered about growing roses in our region. Presented by the Lake Superior Rose Society and the City of Duluth.
Friday, August 15th, 7PM. Come listen and dance your way into a great time with live bossanova music. The Buffalo Function Music Band will be bringing this Brazilian style jazz all the way from Minneapolis. All ages are welcome. N/A drinks will be available for purchase. Band and dancing will take place in Sitio Event’s beautiful outdoor space.
