What Do You Collect & Why? A Community Art Exhibit / Show & Tell Event with Artist Susanna Gaunt Superior, WI – What drives us to collect? What stories do our collections tell? Find out on Friday, April 11th at 5:00 PM as the Superior Public Art Commission and the Douglas County Historical Society invite you to a special event featuring a meet-and-greet with local artist Susanna Gaunt and a unique opportunity to explore and reflect on the concept of collecting. This free event, part of the exhibit titled (Re)Collect, will offer a deeper dive into the intersection of art and history, inviting visitors to explore both contemporary works and items from the community’s extensive historical collection. Gaunt, a Twin Ports-based artist known for her multifaceted approach to drawing, photography, and printmaking, uses art to explore the human condition through both philosophical and scientific lenses. Brew Love North

Join us on Thursday, February 19th from 5:30 – 8:30pm at Clyde Iron Works in Duluth for Brew Love North, a craft beverage tasting fundraiser benefiting the Ronald McDonald House, Upper Midwest. Guests will enjoy samples from a variety of breweries, cideries, distilleries, and wineries paired with delicious appetizers as well as live music, fun games, a silent auction, and more. Tickets are $60 each and NA (non-alcoholic) tickets are available for $50 each. Or, purchase a sponsorship and treat your employees and clients to a fun night out. Come together with friends and community members to share in the joy of giving back while enjoying a night out in Duluth at Brew Love North.

A FREE Concert Series on the William A Irvin Every Thursday in August, the William A. Irvin will once again host musicians in a truly unique venue, atop the historic freighter’s spar deck. In addition to a free concert, attendees will enjoy fantastic lift bridge views and a FOMO-inducing experience. Ship Door opens at 6:30 | Music 7:00 pm Snacks and beverages available for purchase (no alcohol). SCHEDULE: 8/7 Flight of Stares – independent rock band. 8/14 Slope City – Blues and soul-inspired pop. 8/21 Cyr & the Cosmonauts – Americana music with eclectic influences. 8/28 Shelter from the Storm – honoring the music of Bob Dylan.
