Jumpsuit is back at the Paddle for HighKey Mondays! Get on down to Bent Paddle every Monday in March to enjoy live local music, industry night specials and positive vibes galore. Being the city that’s forged some of the biggest names in music, Duluth is also home to Jumpsuit — a funk/jam outfit with a big side bowl of soul. On the rise, these funky folks are a culmination of individuals who have shared the stage with many of those names and more. Jumpsuit features Emanuel Eisele and Marshall Dillon on guitars, Calzone on bass, Ian Hopp on drums, Courtney Ellian on keys/backup vocals, and Erica “Ricky” Francois and Madi Phyle on lead vocals. Shagawa Shorty and the Greenstone Gals came together almost by accident. Shorty met Julie at a jam session at a friend’s house and they began playing together, so Julie could learn the bass and Shorty could play tunes outside of his typical blues repertoire. Not long after, Shorty saw Aurora perform with her sister at a local open mic. He was instantly smitten by her voice, and said to himself, “I wanna be that gal’s band!” So several weeks later, with consent from Julie, Shorty summoned his (admittedly minimal) courage and asked Aurora to play with them. (A seventy-year-old geezer approaching a much younger woman can always seem a bit questionable, but intentions were honorable!) Tales of ᏓᎦᏏ Dagsi Turtle & ᏥᏍᏚ Jisdu Wabbit
Presented by Duluth Public Libraries and Every Child Ready coalition as part of Family Fest. In this live performance, Dagsi Turtle & his sidekick Jisdu Wabbit race through time and space in a musical adventure into Cherokee Futurism. Hop aboard the Turtleship and join Dagsi and Jisdu’s quest to help Grandmother Turtle raise the Gadugi (spirit of cooperation) throughout the universe. Tales, a 2025 Jim Henson Foundation Family Theater Grant Awardee, features catchy original tunes and out-of-this-world puppet characters. The show is created and performed by Cherokee Nation citizen Chris Griffith and Shari Aronson, directed by Julie Boada (Anishinabe). Recommended for ages 4+. This activity made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

Frozen Bags Indoor Cornhole Tourney
The Depot Foundation is partnering with Twin Ports Cornhole to host the first Frozen Bags Indoor Cornhole Tourney in the St. Louis County Depot. It takes place on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. and bags fly at 10:00 a.m. Tournament and online auction proceeds will benefit the Arts for All Scholarship. All skill levels welcome! Bring your own partner, bring your own bags. $40 per team. This set doubles tournament features six matches for every team. 4 round robin games and the double elimination tournament splits into upper and lower divisions. Cash prizes for both divisions, and winners take home the coveted trophies.
