Rocking Rodents bring a laid-back indie rock vibe powered by four high school friends who’ve been playing together for over four years. With Alec Williams on drums, Xander Ripley-Jaakola on bass, Cory Jompson on guitar, and Calliope Opal leading on vocals, their chemistry is real — and they’ve just dropped their debut album. Olivre and the Hecks deliver a wild blend of psychedelic southern punk with a Midwest garage-vamp edge. It’s gritty, it’s weird in the best way, and it absolutely rips.
