The driftless revelers

The Driftless Revelers | Live on the Cosmic Stage!

The Driftless Revelers formed in the second spring of the first global pandemic of the 21st century, with one ear turned toward the shellac platters and Victrola virtuosos of the early to mid 20th century, and the other ear glued to the soundscapes of the 1960’s & 1970’s American freak-folk scene. Since their debut tour in 2021, the band has billed with Grammy winning bluegrass legends like Tim O’Brien & the Gibson Brothers, toured extensively throughout the Upper Midwest performing with other amazing artists like Big Richard, Willy Tea Taylor, Davey Allen & the Midnights, and had breakout performances at several festivals and events (Sol Grass Music Festival, Mile of Music in Appleton, WI. featured in Rolling Stone Magazine). “Scrappy string-based freak-folk, featuring songs like ‘Meat Raffle Mambo,’ ‘Wisconsin Saturday Nights’ and ‘Jesus Shaves’ that both revere and good-naturedly poke fun at state culture — [The Driftless Revelers] may remind…

The Pylon roster is a fluid one, and the lineup can include: Kenneth Gregory, Ned Netzel, Brian Ring, Anton Kloeckl Jimenez, and Steve Sola.

Kenneth G | Live on the Cosmic Stage!

Kenneth G is a musician, composer, and sound enthusiast who lives in Duluth, MN. He is interested in the sounds that are produced in nature and how they can be incorporated into music, and also in how the sounds of the industrialized world combine with and influence the natural world. He uses a digital field recorder as well as vintage tape equipment to document sounds he comes across in the woods or near rivers or lakes, brings them back into the studio, and treats them with an array of software and electronic sound processing devices to hone in on their inherent musical qualities. Using this method, he creates otherworldly, ethereal music that is often difficult to place into conventional genre labels. As a performing musician, he has played keyboards in various bands and collaborative projects around Duluth and the Twin Cities, favoring vintage analog synthesizers from the 70s and 80s…
