Skarlett Woods | Live on the Bent Paddle Cosmic Stage!

Eclectic Singer-Songwriter and guitarist Skarlett Woods can only be placed in one musical category: powerful. Her original work can be daring and Jazzy like early 1970’s Joni Mitchell, poetic like Bob Dylan, sweet and sexy like Norah Jones or laced with Americana like Brandi Carlile. “Remarkable, audacious, and utterly one-of-a-kind.”- Dave Franklin (The Big Takeover).

A Bell Noel: Ringing in the Holidays

Strikepoint, Duluth’s internationally-acclaimed handbell ensemble, will present a holiday concert at 7:00pm Friday, December 20 at First United Methodist Church (230 E. Skyline Parkway) in Duluth. Joining Strikepoint will be some of their musical friends, including organist Velda Graham Bell, flutist Melanie Sever, and a string quartet. Concert selections range from a rip-roaring “Sing We Now of Christmas” to a jazzy “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” to the ever-popular “White Christmas.” Among the comments most frequently heard after concerts, a favorite is, “If we’d known it was going to be this good, we would have made all our friends come.” $25 for adults; $10 for students and children

Prank Williams | Live on the Cosmic Stage!

“These guys are slightly vaudevillian in their approach to the audience. They get everyone engaged and waiting for what may come next. One member of the crowd compared them to the Smothers Brothers of 70’s fame-firstly they are musicians, but there will be loads of jokes and stories. They play off each other, but watch it, you may unknowingly become part of the show.” – Amy Werner, Trempealeau Hotel and Stage in Trempealeau, WI
