Gobble Gallop

This Thanksgiving, join us for the Gobble Gallop — presented by Essentia Health. This 5K, 1-Mile, and Kids Run is Duluth’s favorite family tradition. Whether you’re racing or strolling, every step celebrates wellness, community, and the joy of moving together. Join us and be part of a Northland tradition that keeps hearts warm and feet moving! This event supports Safe Haven Shelter & Resource Center. A portion of the proceeds of the event as well as all partnership and participant donations go to helping Safe Haven continue their essential work in our community. The race starts between S. 12th Ave. E. and S. 13th Ave. E. on London Road, just outside the Rose Garden.

Coming back to the Northland, The Macabre Masquerade 2025! Enjoy a haunting evening filled with mystery, music, art, and delight. It’s sure to help you ring in the macabre season ahead! From tarot, to an exclusive mini market, and photo booth opportunities, there will something for everyone! Catering from Yes, Cheese and Chickadee Coffeehouse & Deli will also be sure to delight. Do you have any song requests for the evening? DJ Kon3 from RTM Entertainment will be playing music of all types including some waltz’s to embrace the spirit of The Macabre Masquerade. Speak Out Superior (S.O.S)

S.O.S! One in three women (or 30%) have experienced domestic violence within their lifetimes. Specifically in Wisconsin, it’s reported that every 4.3 days a life is lost due to domestic violence. We need awareness, support, and love/understanding more than ever! For S.OS. we will be having fundraising with vendors at KindredHeart between 2pm and 4pm, we will be having a march before 5pm (route to be determined), and from 5pm-6:30pm we will have resources at UWS in Swenson Hall, and a Speak Out in the auditorium at approximately 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome to send it stories of domestic violence to the KindredHeart mailbox, email readingsbykls@gmail.com or text us at (218) 590-6377. We will be having stories spread out on poster boards throughout both KindredHeart and UWS.
