Thursday July 3 in the Depot Theatre from noon-1:00 p.m. Free concert, open to the public! “Liberty Call” is the most versatile ensemble within Navy Band Great Lakes. They are an acoustic brass band ensemble which performs a wide range of musical genres, spanning from traditional New Orleans-style jazz to modern-day popular music, including, but not limited to country, rock, jazz, and blues. They perform at a variety of venues, from festivals to outdoor concerts utilizing full speaker systems, to smaller acoustic venues with power and/or space constraints. “Liberty Call” is ready to serve by providing a show that is a crowd-pleaser for audience members of all ages!
Twin Ports RFC is hosting the 3rd stop of the MN Summer Series. The tournament is at Susens Field, 3903 N 18th St, Superior, WI, from 10am to 3:30pm on Saturday June 28th and is FREE to attend. There will also be a FREE to join youth event held at the tournament location from 12pm to 1pm. Come watch as 6 Men’s teams from across MN and ND compete to improve their standing in the MN Summer Series. This year the tournament will include a Women’s tournament with 3 teams from MN and WI including the DEBUT of the Twin Ports Superior Sirens! Concessions will be for sale around lunch time, all proceeds going Twin Ports RFC to help us grow the sport of rugby in the Duluth-Superior area.
