Scarium at the Aquarium 2026
Explore a spookily-decorated Aquarium, trick-or-treat among the exhibits, and show off your creative costumes! We will provide crafts, projects, and games as well as activity materials to take home and enjoy. Great Lakes Aquarium proudly participates in the Teal Pumpkin Project. BOO!seum: Monster Masterpieces
Celebrate Halloween with a creative twist at BOO!seum: Monster Masterpieces at the Duluth Children’s Museum! On Saturday, October 24, families are invited to explore the museum while enjoying silly monsters, creepy crafts, imaginative art activities, and plenty of opportunities to create their very own monster masterpieces. Choose from two event sessions, 10 a.m.–12 p.m. or 1–3 p.m. Costumes are encouraged, but never required, for this not-too-spooky Halloween celebration designed especially for kids and families. Expect hands-on activities, festive museum fun, and lots of wonderfully weird, colorful, and creative monsters along the way. Advance registration is required.
Youth Photo Club (Session 1 of 8)
This twice-monthly educational session is open to any 13+ youth wanting to express themselves creatively through photography. Club meetings include field trips, individual and group projects, short info sessions, one-to-one skill development, and discussion of each other’s work. Participants are allowed to use any type of camera, including their phones.
