This twice-monthly educational session is open to any 13+ youth wanting to express themselves creatively through photography. Club meetings include field trips, individual and group projects, short info sessions, one-to-one skill development, and discussion of each other’s work. Participants are allowed to use any type of camera, including their phones.
Join us for a fun adventure of trick or treating on Glensheen’s historic grounds! Grab a treat or trinket at all 11 stops around our 12 acre estate, that will guide you through various stops including the Gardener’s cottage front door, boathouse, servant’s door, the Juliet balcony, and the mansion front door. This event is free to the public and takes place at Glensheen between 4pm-6pm on October 28th. Get dressed up in your favorite halloween costume and come on down to Glensheen!

Join us for story time and a toddler friendly craft from 10:00am -11:30am. 1/2 price admission $7/adults, $4/kids (3-13) This event is free for members and children 2 and under. We are also a participating member of Museums for All that enables us to offer free admission to Trains and Toddlers to SNAP recipients. In this live performance, Dagsi Turtle & his sidekick Jisdu Wabbit race through time and space in a musical adventure into Cherokee Futurism. Hop aboard the Turtleship and join Dagsi and Jisdu’s quest to help Grandmother Turtle raise the Gadugi (spirit of cooperation) throughout the universe. Tales, a 2025 Jim Henson Foundation Family Theater Grant Awardee, features catchy original tunes and out-of-this-world puppet characters. The show is created and performed by Cherokee Nation citizen Chris Griffith and Shari Aronson, directed by Julie Boada (Anishinabe). Recommended for ages 4+. This activity made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
