You race your friends in a head-to-head competition, while we play all the Mario Kart OST Hits! We got Sunshine Airport, we got Rainbow Road, we got everything your heart could desire. With Beck Fulin (Trumpet) and Devon Defoe (Saxophone), they add all the sweet and sultry horn lines that we could need. Our rhythm section consists of Marshall Dillon on Guitar, Luke Torrent on Drums, and Taylor Shykes on Bass. We’re here to play, and you should be too. 😉

Unity in the Community
Duluth Public Schools started the Unity In Our Community back-to-school event held at Bayfront Festival Park in 2022. Each year we celebrate our students, staff, families, and district. At this event, we have booths, speakers, school and community groups performing on stage, fun activities for kids, and so much more. We also continue to have a free backpack giveaway for families who need it provided by Neighborhood Youth Services and provide a free meal to all who attend. We also pay for transportation hubs around the city using our buses to help break down barriers. The 2025 event will be at Bayfront Festival from 3:30-7pm on Monday, August 18, 2025. The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) will host a series of listening sessions in August to gather regional input on the organization’s direction for facility programming and capital investment priorities. The facilitated 90-minute sessions will gather viewpoints from the public, regional partners, stakeholders, and elected leaders to discuss the DECC’s future. All feedback will be presented to the DECC’s board of directors to guide decisions on growth and programming to serve the needs of the region. Background: Two years ago, DECC staff worked with a national consultant to review its overall operation. After many discussions, it was evident that the DECC needed a clearer sense of its public purpose.
