Viking Polaris Cruise Ship Watch Party | DECC Rooftop Deck | Sunday, June 21 | 4:00pm – 7:00pm Sip your favorite drink, snack on boat bites, and groove to the smoothest yacht rock, all the while watching a cruise ship make their farewell port of call announcements. Then, you can lift a glass as she majestically slips under the iconic Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge. All while soaking in one of Duluth’s most spectacular waterfront views on the DECC’s Rooftop Deck. It doesn’t get more Duluth-y than this. Join us for these FREE events when cruise ships are in town. Enter through Door D between Symphony Hall and DECC Arena. Watch Party events will be canceled for poor weather.

Storytime on the Irvin

Hosted by the Duluth Public Library Storytime ho! Climb aboard the William A. Irvin historical ship for a special storytime! We’ll meet on the top deck for stories, songs, and rhymes at 9:30am, followed by time for families to explore the ship. For kids pre-K – grade 3 with their caregivers. Due to its historical nature as a retired freighter, the Irvin is not ADA accessible and includes multiple staircases to access certain locations. No strollers or wagons please. The top deck has minimal barriers, children must be monitored at all times. When you register, please indicate how many people will be in your group. Ship deck capacity is 130 people. Parking will be free for this event in the DECC parking lot across from the ship. Please let parking booth attendant know you are here for Storytime on the Irvin and they will honor complimentary parking. Register and learn…

The Roadside Lupines

The Roadside Lupines are a 4-piece folk band based out of Duluth, Minnesota. After meeting in college, the band came together in 2023, blending heartfelt original songs with soulful covers spanning from Duluth’s own Trampled by Turtles to Shania Twain. With a name and music rooted in the North Shore, they capture the spirit of life up north and the place they are grateful to call home. The Roadside Lupines released their debut album at the tail end of 2025! Check it out wherever you get your music.
