Cold Front is a free, family friendly celebration of winter fun! Come out to Bayfront Park in Duluth on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 12pm – 7pm. Join us for: Snow Play · Youth Dog Sled Rides · Bonfires · Curling · Ice Skating Sledding Luge · XC Skiing · Fat Biking · Snow Volleyball · Giant Ski Races · and more! Accessibility: Cold Front parking is in a snow-packed gravel parking lot. All paths are connected from the parking lot and there are gentle slopes, and no stairs in the event area. Snow removal will take place prior to the event so that wheeled devices can move throughout the paths. Conditions of paths may vary based on the weather leading up to the event. Duluth Ice & Mixed Fest
Each Winter, the Duluth Climbing Coalition hosts climbers from around the Midwest as we share in our mutual passion of climbing ice. The ice, or sometimes lack thereof, in Quarry Park makes for technically challenging lines that are more suited to experienced climbers and alpinists. However, past ice fests have offered more than just climbing! We typically try to run winter clinics (climbing, camping, etc.) and have forums for discussions and seminars on ice climbing.

Join us for our fifth annual mini Harvest Festival for kids! Presented by: Essentia Health Learn about where our food comes from and experience fun fall activities! playful harvesting apple prints photo booth make your own apple juice live music with Zeb or Zeke and the Runaway Screamings and more with our community partners, Duluth Cider, Native Wise, and Duluth Community Garden! The annual free Pride Festival will celebrate our 40th anniversary in Duluth’s beautiful panoramic Bayfront Festival Park, with events all around the Twin Ports throughout the weekend – including the parade on Tower Avenue in Superior on Sunday. With beer tents, food trucks, an exciting group of exhibitors, information booths, merchandise vendors, an area of fun games and activities for children & families, and a full day of entertainment on the main stage. 2026 date TBD.
