Each year we invite the whole Twin Ports community to March into Mentoring with us! The goal again this year is to nominate 100 caring adults who could show up for a youth in our community. We reach out to each nominee to celebrate them for being an incredible human in our community and invite them to learn more at our Celebration Event on Tuesday, March 24th. With OVER 70 youth currently waiting for a mentor, it’s time for us all to step up to make a real impact. The impact goes both ways, we know Mentoring 1 Youth, Changes 2 Lives! The Northland 5K for Food Allergy is back for our 4th year for food-allergy-friendly family fun at Endion Station in Duluth, Minnesota! This 3.1 mile out and back, chip-timed, run/walk will begin at 9 AM and end at Endion Station in Canal Park, Duluth, MN. There will be awards and prize packs for the top male and female finishers! The Kids’ Fun Run (for anyone 12 and under) will begin immediately following the 5K, expected start time will be between 10 –10:30 AM. There will also be door prizes! After you finish the race, enter your bib number for a chance to win a door prize of your choosing. That’s right — you pick the prize you want to win! The region’s beloved event! The Annual Member Show is a showcase of DAI member artists. All are welcome to celebrate the artists of the Annual Member Show. All attendees vote for the People’s Choice Award, which is announced and awarded later that evening. Thank you to the National Endowment for the Arts and North Shore Bank for sponsoring this event.

This remarkable 30-minute story takes the viewer from Wisconsin to the jungles of Papua New Guinea. The film documents the expedition to find the “Marge” plane flown by America’s top fighter pilot, Richard I Bong. The film also highlights the international partnerships that enabled the team to find the plane and the deepening of the friendships that have formed between northern Wisconsin and Madang, Papua New Guinea.
