Tea Talks: Deltiology in Downtown Duluth
Deltiology is the study and collection of postcards. Come see some historic Real Photo Postcards of people that were produced in Downtown Duluth over 100 years ago. Postcards were the original selfie and even a form of social media back in the early 1900s. Gina Temple-Rhodes is a local history researcher, history nerd and former librarian. She has been digging into the local historic record for 30 years. Welcome to Tea Talks, interesting talks by interesting people about topics they are passionate about, in a cozy and informal space. We provide the talks and tea, bring your curiosity!
Celebration Talent Dance Competition
Celebration Talent hosts professionally run, on time, family-friendly events all across the country, focused on your children and students. We love what we do and think it shows! We hope you’ll consider joining us for our National Finals in Duluth, MN. Duluth is home to the world-famous lift bridge and boasts fun family attractions, lakeside events, and a quaint downtown area. The CTC National Finals will include free convention classes taught by our judges and other faculty, dancers’ welcome party, the Showdown, a dance-off event to crown our Dancer of the Year winners and select the top group performances, plus thousands of dollars in cash and prizes.
