By Jen Silverman Directed by Anika Thompson July 30th-August 8th A charming devil arrives in the quiet village of Edmonton to bargain for the souls of its residents in exchange for their darkest wishes. Elizabeth should be his easiest target, having been labeled a “witch” and cast out by the town, but her soul is not so readily bought. As the devil returns to convince her – and then returns again – unexpected passions flare, alliances are formed, and the village is forever changed. An inventive retelling of a Jacobean drama, this sharp, subversive fable debates how much our souls are worth when hope is hard to come by.
Join us in the woods at the Cloquet Forestry Center for an evening of information exchange and community building. We will have a community social hour which will include an alumni gathering. There will also be a variety of information tables from Extension, Fond du Lac Natural Resources, and Bemidji State University to name a few! During this time Room at the Table will have their food truck on site ready to simplify your dinner plans. After the social hour we will host a few wagon tours showcasing some ongoing projects out in the forest, and presentations centered around climate ready woodlands. You are welcome to stick around until the end of the evening when we will draw our raffle prize winner, though you need not be present to win.
