Bring a blanket or chairs, or just enjoy the grass. There’s nothing better than the beautiful Bayfront park decked out in rainbows! Come celebrate the power of community, creativity, and inclusion at indiGO’s annual Disability Rights Celebration. This family-friendly public event honors the disability rights movement and marks the milestone 36th anniversary of the landmark Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The celebration features a vibrant community resource fair, a local art and maker market showcasing disabled creators, and plenty of live music, storytelling, and moments of solidarity. Light refreshments and entertainment are completely free for all attendees. The event takes place on Thursday, August 6th, 2026, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Superior High School, using Main Door N1. Full accessibility is a priority, and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will be present on-site throughout the event. Viking Polaris Cruise Ship Watch Party | DECC Rooftop Deck | Sunday, June 21 | 4:00pm – 7:00pm Sip your favorite drink, snack on boat bites, and groove to the smoothest yacht rock, all the while watching a cruise ship make their farewell port of call announcements. Then, you can lift a glass as she majestically slips under the iconic Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge. All while soaking in one of Duluth’s most spectacular waterfront views on the DECC’s Rooftop Deck. Monday, June 22, 2026 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Explore and be inspired while forest bathing at the Lake Superior Zoo. Different from a nature hike, being fully in the present moment gently awakens awe and discovery. Technology is set aside to plug into the healing and calming power of nature. During the 2 hour session a series of guided invitations are intermixed with walking slowly, sitting in silence, mindfully observing nature, and sharing what is witnessed. There is a mix of solo and group time. The session concludes with tea and light snacks. Return home to your place of belonging as part of what is wonderfully wild. $40 per person, or $70 for one youth and accompanying adult. Pre-registration with payment required.
