Halloween is almost here, and that means it’s time for Malloween — a spooktacular evening of safe trick-or-treating and family fun! Join us on Saturday, October 25 from 3–5 PM in the Barnes & Noble Court and at participating storefronts for candy, coupons, and kid-friendly goodies. Costumes are encouraged for kids and families alike, and there’s even more fun in store with the Annual Costume Contests! Prizes will be awarded for: Cutest Kid Costume Most Creative Costume Best Group Costume Bring your little ghouls and goblins, snap some photos, and enjoy an afternoon filled with sweet treats, festive fun, and community spirit at Malloween!
Trick-or-Trot at North Country Ride Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025 Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm Location: North Country Ride (180 Hatinen Road, Esko, MN 55733) Saddle up for a spook-tacular afternoon of fall fun at Trick-or-Trot, hosted by the Duluth Children’s Museum and North Country Ride! Families are invited to enjoy festive activities, sweet treats, and plenty of Halloween magic in a horse-themed setting. Activities Include: Horses in Costumes Obstacle Course with Hobby Horses Scavenger Hunt with prizes Halloween Carnival Games Costume Parade Face painting Treat giveaways at every station! Know a kid who’s been sleeping in their costume and asking if they can wear it to the grocery store? This is for you. Family Jam is a family-friendly Halloween(ish) event that takes place before the taproom opens. Dan the Monkeyman will perform an interactive set for kids. There’ll be kid-friendly N/A beverages, ice cream, and snacks available for purchase. (Maybe even some candy too!) We’ll have cider and Birdie, too, for you. It’s free to attend. No registration is required. All ages are welcome. (Suggested age range 0-5 years old.) Costumes encouraged!
