The campground is open all year long with access to water & electric site or tent site. Along with many outdoor activities, there are miles of hiking and biking trails located on the Munger State Trail and connected to the Jay Cooke State Park and trail system.

Spirit Mountain Campground offers walk-in tenting as well as 73 campsites equipped with fire pits, picnic tables, and electricity. Thirty-nine sites have water hook-ups, and two shower buildings offer 24-hour convenience.

Welcome to the walk-in campground in Bagley Nature Area, right on the UMD Campus. This tents-only campground offers six rustic campsites, surrounded by forests. Enjoy hiking on the wood-chipped trails, explore the forests, and discover tent-camping. Close to the Superior Hiking Trail. Parking is at a nearby gravel parking lot. You’ll have to carry your gear into your campsite (no carts are provided and vehicles cannot drive in).
