Mino Bimaadizi Community Science and Medicine Fair

The American Indian Community Housing Organization and the Center of American Indian & Minority Health have partnered together again to host the 2nd annual Mino Bimaadizi Community Science and Medicine Fair. This is a free and family fun event that will include a fun walk/run, a science and medicine fair with meet and greets with local Indigenous and BIPOC science and medical professionals, a feast, traditional lacrosse games, and an Indigenous comedian. The organizations and community partners will bring community awareness about healthy lifestyles, physical activity, and local Indigenous cultures – Break down any mistrust of scientists and medical providers – and engage with the community together in fun hands-on, educational, and cultural ways.
