It’s Paris. The love stories are tumultuous. The friends are chosen family. The highs and the lows are operatic. And it all sounds like Puccini. LOON’s first production of Puccini’s classic, featuring passionate lovers, struggling artists, and soaring singing. One of the most beloved operas of all time.
What: La Bohème, Composed by Giacomo Puccini with Libretto by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa. Sung in Italian with English supertitles. Appropriate for adults and children 10 and up.
Where: Marshall Performing Arts Center (MPAC) on the UMD campus. 1215 Ordean Ct, Duluth, MN 55812. When: Friday, June 14 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, June 16 at 3:00 pm. Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes including one intermission. Two performances only.
Tickets: Assigned Seating from $39-$59. Students with valid student ID $12.
