Sometimes a moment of peace and reflection is all we need! That is what this beautiful concert offers. Grieg’s Two Melodies sets the stage for a first half that is dominated by the south of the strings. Dvorak’s Serenade for the Strings offers lush melodies, before Caroline Shaw’s Entr”acte takes us on a meditative journey. Finally, we are joined by the DSSO Chorus for one of Mozart’s great choral works, his Vesperae solennes de confessore.
