| Artistic creation is a journey that involves not only effort, but judgment, observation, unpredictability, meaning, abstraction, spirit, growth, and understanding of self. As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to advance, authentic creation is easy to get lost in translation. AI is an incredible tool that can enhance human ability, but it wouldn’t exist without the hands and minds that keep it alive. Art and design students at the University of Minnesota Duluth are in a constant state of growth. The 2024 Annual Student Exhibition serves to display their exploration of identity and imagination. |
