    The iconic Fitger’s 5K has grown into one of the state’s premier spring races, offering a perfect challenge for runners of all ages and abilities while taking participants on a scenic tour of newly-renovated downtown Duluth. This is the first of three races involved in the annual KP Challenge, in which participants commit to three races throughout the spring and summer. The other two are the Saint Fennessy 4K and Park Point 5-Miler & 2-Mile Walk, with the aim to help participants keep on a regular training schedule and consistently complete longer distance races. KIDS 18 & UNDER RUN FREE In celebration of its 50th year, Grandma’s Marathon has announced that it will offer free kids entries (18 & under) to each of the five Young Athletes Foundation races in 2026.
