The Roadside Lupines are a 4-piece folk band based out of Duluth, Minnesota. After meeting in college, the band came together in 2023, blending heartfelt original songs with soulful covers spanning from Duluth’s own Trampled by Turtles to Shania Twain. With a name and music rooted in the North Shore, they capture the spirit of life up north and the place they are grateful to call home. Octavia Forté is a local drag performer and the person of Rapper, DJ, Songwriter, and Producer Brinn Major. Originally dubbed as illyrik, Brinn has vastly risen in the local music and drag scene as a proud member of the illustrious Haus of Queer coming off a successful rookie year in the craft. Forté will be bringing a new twist in their drag, rapping in drag some of their favorites over their 15 year indie rap career, whilst hyping up the long awaited new album, “Persona, Vol 3”.
