Bentleyville Tour of Lights is a walk through holiday lighting extravaganza! We take over Bayfront Festival Park, on the shores of Lake Superior in Downtown Duluth, and decorate it with over 5,000,000 lights! We are very popular and we often see large crowds. Whiplash, Casablanca, Austin Powers, and even A Charlie Brown Christmas are all examples of the deep history of big band jazz showing up in film, and also share the distinction of being movies we’re playing tunes from in the Duluth Community Jazz Band’s winter concert. DCJB is made up of passionate, talented community musicians who are your friends, neighbors, and coworkers that want to play high level music but not as a profession. Don’t let the word “community” fool you – this band can really swing. This concert was made possible by a generous grant from The Depot Foundation, and is free of admission asking only for a charitable donation to support community music if you are able.
