Join us at Glensheen for a unique Beer Garden experience, perfect for beer-enthusiasts and family fun on the estate grounds. Taste local craft beer, ice cream, food provided by local food trucks, while spending time with friends and family and taking in breathtaking Lake Superior views throughout Wednesday evenings in June. Tune in at 6:30pm as our local brewers share their stories during Brew Talks. 2026 Lineup Wednesday evenings in June from 5pm – 8pm. June 3: Bent Paddle Brewing Company June 10: Earth Rider Brewery June 17: Castle Danger Brewery June 24: Ursa Minor Brewing Food & Drinks One food truck option will be available each night for the Beer Garden: Gumbeaux Guys or Oasis Del Norte. Local ice cream from Love Creamery, small snacks, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available for purchase on-site.

Science on Deck

Welcome Aboard UMD Large Lakes Observatory’s R/V Blue Heron! Every summer, the Large Lakes Observatory hosts Science on Deck events, offering free public tours and presentations on the research vessel (R/V) Blue Heron. The Blue Heron is part of the University National Oceanographic Laboratory System (UNOLS), and is chartered by research scientists to explore the Great Lakes. Throughout the summer, the Blue Heron will dock at Pier B Resort, extend the gangway, and invite the community to meet the crew, scientists and students.
