Join the St. Louis River Alliance on Sunday, September 20th from 11:00am-12:00 p.m. for a volunteer cleanup event at Woodstock Bay Public Landing in Superior, Wisconsin. The St. Louis River Alliance and our partners at the City of Superior will provide garbage bags, pickers, gloves, and buckets. We will be working near the water at times, so wear long clothing and bring your own gloves and high-boots if you have them; dress for the weather, and don’t forget a water bottle! Location: Meet at the Woodstock Bay Public Landing Parking Lot (15 White Birch Trail, Superior, WI 54880). Join the St. Louis River Alliance, the City of Superior, and Stantec for the next step in shaping the future of the 44th Ave E Dock—formerly known as the Bunge Dock. Building on the ideas and feedback shared during June’s community walking tour (recap here), this interactive design workshop will give participants an opportunity to review preliminary concepts for the future public waterfront access area and help refine the vision for the site. Stantec’s design team will present early design ideas developed from community input collected from the public survey and June Walk & Talk. Participants will be invited to discuss the concepts, share their perspectives, and identify the elements they feel are most important. Community feedback from this workshop will directly inform the next phase of design development. There are two playgrounds, yard games, a wagon ride through the Whimsical Woods and so much more. Feed the donkeys, goats, and chickens and walk through the berries. The farm is open to everyone Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, August 7 through October 25, 2026, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. We will also open Thursday, October 15 for MEA weekend from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets are sold at the entrance in the yellow building. The cost is $8.00 a person, and infants are free. Everything on the farm is included in the price. We are off Highway 53 in Duluth at 5399 Samuelson Road.
