Divine Konnections is re-opening the building to continue to provide vital resources for West Duluth, naming it after YWCA Duluth’s past executive director, Karen Diver. Rory Van James is a singer/songwriter from Duluth, MN. A former professional baseball player turned musician, Rory has carved out a unique voice through years of travel and performance. After debuting his first album The Passage, written in the solitude of Alaska and recorded in Seattle, he launched his ambitious double-vinyl project Sewn Silhouettes, recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London and Sage Arts Studio in Washington, and released in 2020.
