Prime Time at the Paddle: Meat Raffle & More

Join us at Bent Paddle for Prime Time at The Paddle, hosted by Skyline Rotary, a vintage tradition with a modern twist, all in support of a great cause. All proceeds from fundraising efforts go directly to the Rotary. Enjoy happy hour beverage specials, classic raffle fun, and plenty of chances to win loads of prizes. 7–9 PM | Every 4th Thursday of the Month Retro vibes. Prime Meats. Pure luck. Meat Raffle (vegan options available) Wheel Spin 50/50 Raffles Hosted by Rotary Open to the public event: We simply ask that you order beverages throughout the night and take good care of your friendly Beertenders! Woodland Winter Freeze Festival

Join the Duluth East Student Government at the Woodland Ice Rinks for a Minnesota Hockey Day celebration taking place on January 24th from 9am to 3:30 pm! There will be free hot chocolate and s’more roasting, as well as various other winter activities. Build a snowman, do some crafts, decorate a cookie, and even compete in trivia! If that’s not enough, bring some skates and celebrate our strong hockey community here in Duluth by making use of some free skate time or support our Duluth Northern Stars girls hockey team in their traditional Minnesota Hockey Day scrimmage against the Proctor/Hermantown Mirage team! Finally, make a bid for a chance to win a basket full of goodies including some from your favorite local businesses in our silent auction. Northland Figure Skating Competition

The 46th Annual Northland Figure Skating Competition will be held at the DECC Arena and AMSOIL Arena. Admission to the event is free. Community members are encouraged to attend and see, first hand, the amazing talents of the competitors. Please note parking at the DECC is $10 a day. Keep your parking ticket on your vehicle’s dash for easy re-entry each day. Schedule Overview: Thursday: Quiet rink events at DECC Arena & AMSOIL Arena (2:00 PM – 9:00 PM) featuring spins and jumps with no music. Friday: Freeskate programs with music at DECC Arena & AMSOIL Arena (starting at 8:00 AM). Saturday: A full day of freeskate and spin events at DECC Arena (starting at 8:00 AM).
