“Spider” John Koerner. His music — inventive originals and innovative interpretations of classic folk/blues have amazed and impressed, and his collaborations with masters like Dave Ray, Tony Glover, and Willie Murphy are legendary. Though there is ample vinyl and CD compilations, preserving the visual alchemy of John’s performances are hard to come across. I convinced John to drive for 13 [long] hours to The Logging Camp Ranch, in a remote but spectacular corner of southwestern North Dakota, to tune up and let the cameras roll. Date Saturday, June 6th, 2026 What The Superior Hiking Trail (SHT) turns 40 this year, and we are celebrating on Saturday, June 6. First up is a Trail-wide hike. Register for your preferred section of the SHT to hike, run, or saunter on our event webpage. After your time on the Trail, celebrate with us at one of four epic birthday parties hosted by local businesses. You bring the stories and we’ll bring the cake! Join us in making this 40th birthday party a tale worth telling for the next 40 years. Live from the yard! Justine Fosle is local musician who was born and raised in Duluth. Her original music primarily features songs about embracing nature in everyday life. She also is fond of covering some of her favorite tunes as well. She enjoys playing with multiple artists in town, with her twin brother Joe joining in for this show among other amazing artists.
