The Roadside Lupines are a 4-piece folk band based out of Duluth, Minnesota. After meeting in college, the band came together in 2023, blending heartfelt original songs with soulful covers spanning from Duluth’s own Trampled by Turtles to Shania Twain. With a name and music rooted in the North Shore, they capture the spirit of life up north and the place they are grateful to call home. Monday, June 22, 2026 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Explore and be inspired while forest bathing at the Lake Superior Zoo. Different from a nature hike, being fully in the present moment gently awakens awe and discovery. Technology is set aside to plug into the healing and calming power of nature. During the 2 hour session a series of guided invitations are intermixed with walking slowly, sitting in silence, mindfully observing nature, and sharing what is witnessed. There is a mix of solo and group time. The session concludes with tea and light snacks.
