Wildwoods is having an Open House and Ribbon-Cutting event! Join us as we celebrate the gifting of land to Wildwoods. Warm up around a campfire while enjoying some s’mores, popcorn, and hot cocoa! We will have face-painting and coloring for the kids, and educational activities on beavers and wolves for all ages. We will be offering tours of our facility (as long as no animals are in care that day!). Park at Eastridge Community Church (3727 W. Arrowhead). No parking on-site, shuttle provided. Ice Cream Should Be Cold, Your Neighbors Should NOT Be! Our annual winter clothing drive is coming up quick! On Thursday, October 23rd, stop in to our office or Life 97.3 at 1101 E. Central Entrance to drop off New or Gently used, Mittens, Hats, and Jackets for our local schools. Consider stopping into Twin Ports Trailer Trash on October 22nd from 8am – 4pm for free Mattress Drop-Offs along with the winter clothing drive! Donate and you will get some free ice cream! As we work closely with the local schools, all donation will be sorted and sent to the schools based on their needs! Help us keep our neighborhood warm this winter! We hope to see you there!

Join us on Thursday, October 16th from 5:30pm-7:00pm at Dovetail Cafe and Market for our “Fall Into Mentoring” cozy happy hour event! You’ll have the chance to hear mentoring stories, listen to a Q&A panel of current mentors, learn how to get involved, and cozy up with food/drink. This event is open to the public and free to attend!
