Guided Somatic Journey

A guided Somatic Meditation with Mental Health Therapist Neil Rasmussen, MS Immerse yourself in calm, embodied presence 🧘 Tea, communal circle, and an immersive guided meditation, centering yourself with love, ease and connection. A 90-minute experience intended to invite and explore a sense of calm, authentic embodiment. We will begin with optional tea and communal circle for sharing any intentions, then transcend inwards through a guided somatic meditation. An experience for all! Tea will be provided. Please bring your own yoga/meditation mat if possible, and a light blanket may also be supportive.

Clear the Shelter event at Fleet Farm w/ Carlton Co. Animal Rescue

Join Fleet Farm Hermantown and Carlton County Animal Rescue for a Clear the Shelter event supporting pets in our local community. Stop by on August 22nd from 10:30AM – 1:30PM to meet adoptable pets, learn more about the organization’s work and discover ways to support pets in need. We’ll also be collecting items to help Carlton County Animal Rescue care for local animals. Most-needed donations include: Purina Kitten Plate, Paper Towels, Purina Cat Food, Kitten or Puppy Formula, Pooper Scoopers, High Sided Littler Boxes

An Evening with Former Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton

Please join Zenith Bookstore on Thursday, September 17th at the St. Louis County Depot – Great Hall as we welcome Former Minnesota Governor and Senator, Mark Dayton. Mark will be joined by his dear friend and former Senior Advisor, John Ongaro. We’ll begin this special evening with cocktails (including non-alcoholic) and conversation at 6 PM. All proceeds will go to the North Shore Scenic Railroad. At 7 PM we’ll shift into our fascinating program. Mark and John will discuss Mark’s new memoir, Perseverance. They will talk about being a Dayton’s Department Store heir, his senate and governorship, and other parts of his life. Mark will take questions from the audience.
