Zeitgeist Center for Arts & Community is a nonprofit arts organization in downtown Duluth, Minnesota. Home to the Zinema, Zeitgeist Theater, and Zeitgeist Restaurant & Bar, Zeitgeist brings people together through independent film, live theater, dining, and community events. Through year-round programming and the annual Zeitgeist Minnesota Film Festival, we create experiences that inspire connection, creativity, and conversation.

Welcome to the Zinema – Duluth’s first and only nonprofit, independent movie theater. Every day we’re showing the best in all types of cinema – from new releases, to documentary films, to classic and cult favorites, and foreign films. Our programming is thoughtfully curated with our community in mind.
Set in an historic building downtown, Lizzards features original works by local and regional artists. Lizzards also provides archival, museum style framing by experienced and knowledgable staff.

AICHO strives to honor our ancestors, to reclaim our traditional art and support Indigenous People, and empower our community and the future generations to come. You can find rotating exhibits in the Dr. Robert Powless Cultural Center, located in the American Indian Community Housing Organization’s Gimaajii-Mino-Bimaadizimin building.
