It’s always free to visit the Lake Superior Marititme Visitor Center (or marine museum), though donations are gratefully accepted. The center is handicap accessible and restrooms are public. Interactive exhibits, season programming. School programs require teachers and chaperones present. No food, drink, or pets allowed in the building at any time. Movie programs available upon request.

Plan your visit to unleash your wild side. The Lake Superior Zoo is a member of Museums for All and works to limit financial barriers to visiting the zoo. Through this program, guests can visit for $3/person, up to four people, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card. The zoo has also worked with the Duluth Public Library system to make 15 passes available for check out from the library, each granting admission to the zoo for four people. The Blue Star program also provides free admission to active military members and their families.

Dedicated on August 21, 2003, the Korean Veterans Memorial honors the men and women who served in the Korean conflict. Learn about Duluth’s B Company, a highly decorated group of local soldiers, most of whom served in combat. The memorial is illuminated and especially poignant at night.
